Nyya is a minister, cultural organizer, and International Affairs scholar whose work is committed to social equity and liberation. He is a graduate of Florida International University (BA), Union Theological Seminary (M.A.R.), and The New School (M.A.).
NICO HERNANDEZ
Assistant Director

Nico is a graduate of the University of Chicago '23, with a degree in Public Policy Studies and minor in Human Rights. He is passionate about dismantling the harm caused by the Criminal Legal System and policing on Black and Brown communities. Both in his hometown of St. Louis and in Chicago, Nico has worked with agencies that center Restorative and Transformative Justice models to provide alternative justice models for communities of color.
ANDREW SOTO

Andrew is currently a third year student at the University of Chicago studying Critical Race and Ethnic Studies and Creative Writing. Originally from Los Angeles, Andrew is passionate about the intersections of politics, race, and culture and how they affect low income and communities of color. Alongside his work with Lanbi ak Manchèt, Andrew is a multimedia artist and is currently working on a debut poetry collection.
